Aims and Objectives

 

The aim of our school is to develop our children to their full potential. Our objectives include creating an environment that is caring, positive, happy, stable and motivationally stimulating, where children feel valued as individuals and learn to co-operate with one another. Dinas Powys Infants' School is an established part of the community and firm links have been forged with groups in the area.

 

The School

 

Our school is a County Infants' Day School for 3 - 7 year olds maintained by the Vale of Glamorgan Local Education Authority. The school is a remodelled traditional building with a large award-winning 'seamless addition' extension. It is on one level with easy access for all children and is surrounded by a large playground and school fields with benches and a wildlife area.
