Flag Pole

We are very grateful to Mrs Lewis and the Eco-committee for obtaining planning permission and
organising the erection of the flag pole for our Eco-School Green Flag. It looks very impressive.

September 2011

Our Autumn Newletters are now available on the Letters Home section of the site.

Home Reading Library

This library opened on Friday 9th September.  The children are requested to bring their books back every Friday.   Our system Junior Libarian.net enables us to run the library and track the books using bar codes.

School Dinners

Please note school dinners are £1.90 daily or £9.50 weekly. You are welcome to pay monthly, half termly or termly. Please send the money in a named envelope every Monday.

Thank you for your continuing support of the School Meal Service. 

A terms notice is needed of a change to sandwiches as the food is ordered termly. Thank you for your co-operation.

New Term begins Tuesday 6th September 2011

The new term begins on Tuesday September 6th 2011 at 9 a.m.

When the bell rings at 9 a.m. Year 1and Year 2 will use the back entrance. Year 2 Mrs Davies, Base A will line up on Number 5 and Mrs Lewis, Base L, will line up on Number 6. Year 1 - Miss Miggins, Base M, will line up on Number 4 and Mrs Dutfield, Base D, will line up on Number 3. Reception will line up at the front of the school, Mrs Barber, Base B, will be on your left and Miss Gardner, Base G, on your right.

Parents' Association Summer Fun Day

We look forward to seeing you at the Summer Fun Day at school on Saturday 2nd July at 1pm.  All welcome!

Thank you for your support this term. The Spring Term has been very busy and enjoyable. As usual all our events have been very successful. These have included St David’s Day celebrations, Class Assemblies, the World Book Author Day, the Pandemonium Theatre performance of ‘Cry Wolf’, Red Nose Day and many other activities.

End of Term Friday April 15th - School re-opens Tuesday May 3rd.

RED NOSE DAY

Red Nose Day

Add something red to your uniform for example a nose/or a badge/or a hat/or

scarf/or hair/or tee-shirt/or socks or anything else you think of.

As this is not a dressing up event please wear school uniform as normal.

Please send a £1 donation for the Comic Relief Charity.

Breakfast Club

Thank you for the replies received. The Club opens on Tuesday January 4th. The Club will run from 8.15 - 9.00 a.m. If you have registered your child you will receive written confirmation of this. Please Note — only registered children can attend.

Thank you for your support during our flooding crisis.

Lunchtime 'Grab Bags' will continue until at least Wednesday and following this the lunch menu may be subject to change.

School Open Tuesday 30th November

School will re-open on Tuesday 30th November, although due to the severity of the leak the school hall is still out of use.  Vale Catering will provide 'grab bags' for children who have dinners.

New Home Reading Record

We have introduced a Home Reading Record with the reading scheme books we send home every Friday.  Please add your comments in this book.
